The main highlights for this classical Ngorongoro Crater safari shall be, the spectacular views of the big game such as; the Black Rhino, Buffalos, Cheetah, Lions, Hyena, Hippo, Zebras, Elephants, Wildebeest, and many other African wildlife.

[Day 1] – Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania (Distance: 190 km – 4 hrs.)

Pick up from your hotel in Arusha Town. Drive to the crater with unique views of the high altitude rain forest surrounding the ring. Lunch at your lodge. Afternoon descend to the crater for game viewing.

The Ngorongoro Serena Lodge is built into the rim of a dormant volcano. The plant and ivy-covered native stone blends perfectly with the surroundings. Guest rooms have private terraces with views of the crater floor where countless animals make their home is an attraction to catch while on a safari.

You have lunch at the lodge and later undertake an afternoon crater tour. This collapsed caldera is 610 meters deep and has a floor 18 km wide. Views from the rim of the crater are spectacular. The crater has become a unique conservation area where Lion, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo roam in perfect safety.

[Day 2] – Full Day in the Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania

After breakfast, you will go for the full day exploration in the Ngorongoro crater area. It’s always hard and difficult to describe the beauty of this caldera and thus a visit is worth it. The crater area harbors wildlife such as world predators like Lions, Leopards and so on.

Other animals with in the park include the Elephants, Buffaloes, Hippos, Jackals, Flamingoes, Zebras, and a lot of bird species. The park also houses the rare black Rhinos. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge

[Day 3] – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha, Tanzania
