While on this 9 days Best of Tanzania safari, expect to enjoy viewing a variety of wildlife species such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, leopards, cheetahs, elands, Thomson gazelles, giraffes, zebras and many more. This 9 days Best of Tanzania safari starts from Arusha and ends in Arusha.

[Day 1] – Arrival and hotel transfer in Arusha

Upon landing at Kilimanjaro Airport on day 1 of 9 days Best of Tanzania safari, our company representative will be ready to welcome you, meet and greet and embark on a transfer to your hotel in Arusha where you will check in, have a meal and relax.

[Day 2] – Transfer to Tarangire National Park

On day 2 of 9 days Best of Tanzania Safari, you will set off on a journey from Arusha and be driven to Tarangire national park famously known for a large her of free grazing Elephants and Baobab trees that cover the largest part of the park.

Upon arrival at the park, enjoy an enroute game drive as you head to the lodge for check in and lunch and after lunch return to the park to proceed with the game drive exploring different species of fauna and flora that make Tarangire National Park unique in its own nature.

[Day 3] – Transfer to Serengeti National Park

Enjoy an early game drive to spot the nocturnal and hunters then return to the lodge for breakfast after which you will out of the lodge and meet your safari driver and start your journey to Serengeti national park one of the world heritage site that is worth a visit while on an East Africa Safari.

Serengeti national park thrills with lots of attractions ranging from the man eaters most especially the lions and leopards without forgetting the annual wildebeest migration that where millions of Wildebeests, thousands of Zebras, Gazelles, and many other mammals are seen migrating from Serengeti national park following rain patterns to Masai Mara national reserve. Upon arrival at the park, you will check in your lodge for dinner and overnight.

[Day 4] – Fully day in Serengeti National Park

Head out for an early morning game drive to spot several wildlife species that arise in the morning to feed and the nocturnal mammals that are seen returning to their hiding places. After morning game drive, return to your lodge for breakfast then return for a full day excursion in the park with packed lunch box.

You will spend time observing the oldest ecosystem of the park that thrills with endless plains with woodland, hills, rocks, and rivers that all bring out the uniqueness of this magnificent park in Tanzania. After full exploring the plains of Serengeti national park, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. (You have an optional hot air balloon safari).

[Day 5] – Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Serengeti national park on day 5 of 9 days Best of Tanzania safari then return to the lodge for a breakfast after which you will check out of the lodge to exit Serengeti national park for Ngorongoro crater with an optional stopover at Olduvia Gorge where you will be able to view the remains of the early man that have been protected for almost 3.6 million years.

Proceed to check in your lodge for lunch and return to the crater for the remaining hours of the day to explore the world’s largest caldera that harbors serval wildlife species. Exit the crater in evening and return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

[Day 6] – Full Day Ngorongoro Crater

After enjoying your morning breakfast at the lodge on day 6 of 9 days Best of Tanzania safari after which you will descend into the crater for a full day excursion with your packed lunchbox. After this, enjoy your picnic lunch at the hippo pool and finally have an evening game drive as you return to your lodge for dinner and night rest.

[Day 7] – Transfer to Lake Eyasi

After breakfast on day 7 of 9 days Best of Tanzania safari, you will check out of the lodge and exit Ngorongoro Crater for Lake Eyasi where you will spend time with the Hadzabe tribe one of the best tribes to meet while in Tanzania.

You may join them for some activities like hunting, fruit picking and many more. After this cultural tour, you will spend your remaining time at the beautiful Lake Eyasi which is one of the salty lakes in the Rift valley region.

[Day 8] – Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast at your lodge on day 8 of 9 days Best of Tanzania safari, you will check out of the lodge and set off on a transfer to the Lake Manyara National Park where you will arrive in time for lunch.

After lunch, you will set off for a game drive where you will encounter with several wildlife species including primates such as Baboon, mammals such as Buffaloes, Giraffes, antelopes, bush babies, Wildebeests, warthogs, tree-climbing lions, bird species including the migratory birds, Waterbeds, forest birds and many more.

You as well enjoy a canoe ride along Lake Manyara where you will spot more mammals as they flock the lake. You will also be able to sight several aquatic wildlife including Hippos, crocodiles and water birds among others. Later in the evening, drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

[Day 9] – Morning Game Drive and Departures to Arusha

Arise abit early in the morning, grab a cup of tea and head out for an early morning game drive with an opportunity to meet the nocturnal mammals and primates before they return to their hiding corners. You will also be blessed to encounter other wildlife to top up the previous sightings.

After the game drive, drive back to the lodge for a hot meal. After lunch, you will check out of the lodge with your belonging and meet your Tanzania safari driver to be returned to Arusha for either hotel drop off or airport drop off for departures to your next destination or back home.
