10 Days Classical Wildebeest and Gorilla Safari

[Day 1] – Pick up and drive to Serengeti National Park

You will be picked up by your guide who will welcome you and brief you about your safari. After being briefed, your guide will drive you to Serengeti national park where you will engage in wildlife viewing as you explore the savannah plains in search of wildlife species such as elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, giraffes, impalas among others. You will be driven to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges.

[Day 2] – Full day in Serengeti National Park

After having breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti national park, your guide will drive you around the national park as you engage in a morning game drive as you look out for wildlife species such as elephants, lions, rhinos, leopards, and buffalos which are the big 5 among others. You will have lunch after your morning game drive in the national park.

You will also engage in an afternoon game drive around the central part of Serengeti national park which is also referred as Seronera area. After your game drive, your guide will drive you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Osinon camps and lodges.

[Day 3] – Flight to Masai Mara National Reserve

You will start your day with breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti national park as you prepare for your flight to Masai Mara national reserve. Your guide will pick you up from the airstrip on arrival and drive you to your lodge for lunch.

After lunch, you will engage in an evening game drive in Masai Mara national reserve as you enjoy looking out for different wildlife species such as elephants, wildebeests, zebras, lions, buffalos, antelopes, hippos, giraffes among others. Your dinner and overnight will be at Sentrim Mara camp.

[Day 4] – Full day in Masai Mara

You will engage in a morning game drive around Masai Mara national reserve after having breakfast at your lodge. During your morning game drive, you will drive around the savannah as you search for wildlife species such as the big 5 as well as zebras, gazelles, hippos, wildebeests, cheetahs among others. Your lunch will be served after your morning game drive.

In the afternoon you will engage in another game drive in Masai Mara national reserve as you explore the wilderness in search of other wildlife species before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Sentrim Mara camp.

[Day 5] – Flight to Entebbe

You will have a flight from Masai Mara national reserve to Entebbe in Uganda after breakfast and checking out of your lodge. On arrival at Entebbe, you will be welcomed by your Ugandan guide who will drive you to your hotel for dinner and overnight at 2 friends hotel Entebbe.

[Day 6] – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest N. Park

After having breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe, your guide will drive you to south western Uganda where you will visit Bwindi impenetrable forest national park. You will have a stop at the equator and also in Mbarara for lunch. You will continue to Bwindi national park where you will check in and have your dinner and spend the night at Buhoma haven lodge.

[Day 7] – Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

You will have breakfast early at your lodge as you prepare for your gorilla trekking activity in Bwindi national park. Your guide will drive you to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about the gorilla trek. You will continue into the impenetrable forest where you will search for the gorillas. You will be allowed to spend about 1 hour with the gorillas in the forest before returning to the briefing point where your guide will be waiting to drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Buhoma haven lodge.

[Day 8] – Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will have breakfast at your lodge in Bwindi National Park ahead of your transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha sector which is home to the tree climbing lions. You will continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Park view safari lodge.

[Day 9] – Game Drive and a Boat Cruise in the Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will have breakfast early at your lodge ahead of a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will search for wildlife species in the national park such as buffalos, elephants, lions, leopards, antelopes, kudu, topi, hippos, bushbucks, warthogs among others. You will have lunch after your morning game drive in the national park.

After lunch, you will also engage in a boat ride along the Kazinga channel where Lake George and Lake Edward meet. Along the shores of the Kazinga channel, you will see crocodiles, hippos, elephants, buffalos and other wildlife species as you engage in the boat ride. After your boat ride, your guide will drive you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Park view safari lodge.

[Day 10] – Departure with a return to Kampala

On the last day of your safari, your guide will pick you up from your lodge after your breakfast. You will be driven back to Entebbe with a stop for lunch and your guide will drop you off at the airport or your hotel in Entebbe which will bring your safari to an end.
